State of the art

There are many ways to generate electricity, and one of them is wind turbines. The most effective and widely used are horizontal wind turbines, which we can see in wind farms or offshore parks.

The disadvantage of these turbines is that they must be built outside of residential areas due to the noise they produce and their size. Additionally, the electricity generated must be fed into the public grid. For smaller horizontal wind turbines designed for households or vehicles, noise and vibrations that occur when installed on buildings do not pose significant challenges.

Another type of wind turbine is the vertical wind turbine. These are aesthetically pleasing, quiet, and can be installed directly on buildings. However, vertical wind turbines are about 30-50% less efficient than their horizontal counterparts.

That's why WINSO turbines are needed

INNOVATION

Here comes our WINSO turbine, which achieves-and even surpasses-the performance of a horizontal wind turbine through a hybrid system of wind and solar energy!

Our innovative solution utilizes an electric motor powered by solar cells, providing additional drive for the wind turbine.

FUNCTION

The solar cells are installed directly on the rotor blades, simultaneously replacing the rotor blade and therefore requiring no additional space.

But that's not all. This electric drive also enables continuous electricity generation even in calm wind conditions—with an efficiency of up to 30% of the system. In the end, it's not just the peak performance that matters, but also the total energy yield over the course of the day.

TECHNICALLY WELL THOUGHT OUT:

To construct the WINSO turbine more safely and effectively, we have mounted the wind blades on movable supports that, at high rotational speeds, form a closed oval shape of the system due to centrifugal forces, thus taking the wind off the blades at excessively high speeds. This has two advantages. On one hand, the system can no longer rotate faster; on the other hand, when the wind blades are closed, no headwind acts on the surface, which would otherwise slow the system down.

A huge potential

The market for small wind turbines is steadily growing and offers enormous potential. There are various application areas, particularly for private households, as well as island applications such as garden houses, vacation homes, mobile homes, boats, and other objects where independent and effective electricity generation is essential. We are convinced that WINSO will play a leading role in this market.

Our business model is simple and scalable. Our goal is to manufacture wind turbines cost-effectively through in-house production. The WINSO turbine is not significantly more expensive than a traditional vertical turbine.

Additionally, through an initially lean offering, we can provide our product more efficiently and at a lower cost than comparable performance models on the market.

Focusing on one-time sales allows us to achieve stable and recurring revenue with growth potential.

The WINSO team has many years of experience in business and sales, as well as extensive knowledge in electrical engineering. We plan to add more experienced professionals to the team in purchasing, sales, production, and marketing to ensure the startup's success
